He trained across kitchens in Buenos Aires, then spent a year immersed in Italian gastronomy while based in Australia, and worked at the avant-garde restaurant Bros in Lecce, Italy, where he met fellow chef Gastón Dahir. He moved to Madrid in 2021 and founded the Natif cafés, which grew to two locations in the city. Years after meeting at Bros, he and Dahir reunited in Madrid and, in spring 2026, co-founded BAS near Parque del Retiro, where the two chefs run both kitchen and dining room themselves.

Campbell carries the precision he developed in Italian cuisine into BAS's seasonal, shareable menu, which folds Argentine, Italian and Spanish influences together without settling on just one.
