Ritma and Pueblo among TheFork Awards nominees for Spain's best openings

Two Mallorca restaurants — Ritma in Fornalutx and Pueblo in Sóller — have been named among the 41 nominees in the fifth edition of TheFork Awards, the reservation platform's annual recognition of Spain's best restaurant openings of 2025.

The nominees span 14 autonomous communities and were drawn up by a jury of 56 chefs who each hold one, two or three Michelin stars. From here, TheFork users vote for their favourite until 11 October, and nine restaurants will be named finalists at a gala on 16 November at Madrid's Gran Teatro CaixaBank Príncipe Pío.

Ritma, inside Hotel Can Verdera in Fornalutx, is led by chef Marcos Servera and works an Atlantic-Mediterranean, fire-and-ember style rooted in Mallorcan and Atlantic produce; it also features in the Guía Repsol 2026. Pueblo, in neighbouring Sóller, completes the island's two-restaurant showing on the national list.
