New Menú de Hoy app maps daily set-lunch menus from over 130 Mallorca restaurants and bars

A new app called Menú de Hoy has launched on Mallorca to gather the island's menús del día, the fixed-price weekday lunch set menus many bars and restaurants offer, in one place. Instead of restaurant-hopping or scrolling individual social media pages, users can compare dishes, prices and opening hours for more than 130 venues from their phone, according to Mallorca Magazin.

At launch, the app lists restaurants in Palma and the Part Forana, meaning the rest of the island outside the capital. Around 80 menus are published each day, and more than 60 venues update their listings daily or weekly depending on how they operate. Offers can be filtered by distance, location, price and type of cuisine, and the app automatically translates the dishes it picks up from menus into Spanish, Catalan and English.

There's also a section for group meals and celebrations, such as family gatherings, business lunches or meeting up with friends, built around a poll feature meant to help a group agree on where to eat. Restaurants can manage their own listings themselves and notify regular customers about new offers.

Menú de Hoy was built by Miguel Titos Ramis as a local project for Mallorca. According to the developer, the idea grew out of a common question: which menú del día is on offer nearby on a given day, a decision a central overview can make easier, especially when several people are eating together. The free, ad-free app is available now on iPhone via the App Store, while the Android version is currently in an early-access programme, with a full public release planned in the coming weeks. It joins Zampa, a similar Mallorca-built app that has taken a comparable approach since May 2026.
