Michael and Feli Bohrmann, behind the cult Deutsches Eck at Playa de Palma, have opened a second venue — Heimatliebe Mallorca — serving German classics with a sun terrace.

By Justin Mota··Playa de Palma

Michael and Feli Bohrmann, the couple behind the long-running Deutsches Eck at Playa de Palma, have opened a second venue called Heimatliebe Mallorca, which opened its doors on Thursday 10 September 2026.

The new spot is on Carrer del Llaüt, a block back from the sea near Balneario 8 and diagonally opposite the original Deutsches Eck, in the former Café und Restaurant Anders. The kitchen runs to German classics — what the owners call liebgewonnene Klassiker (beloved favourites) — alongside newer dishes, served across a sun terrace and an air-conditioned dining room, daily from 8am to 11pm.

The original Deutsches Eck has been a Playa de Palma fixture since 2004, open every day of the year. Heimatliebe extends the couple's German-oriented offering a few steps along the same beachfront.
