Mecha, a music-led restaurant from Chispa Bistró and Tresde, opens in Salesas

Mecha, a restaurant and bar built around listening to music, opened at Almirante 11 in Salesas in mid-September 2026. It comes from Chispa Bistró chef Juan D'Onofrio, Lucas Fernández of Tresde, Álvaro López and Antonio Chávez.

Mecha, at Almirante 11 in Salesas, is the new project of Juan D'Onofrio, chef at the Michelin-starred Chispa Bistró, with Lucas Fernández of Tresde, composer and music producer Antonio Chávez and Álvaro López, until now head chef at Chispa, who runs Mecha's kitchen. ABC reported on 22 September that it opened the week before.

The idea is a listening venue where music is part of the experience. The menu has 30 dishes built on produce from sea, land and garden, with cocktails by Matías Ordoñez (ex Salmon Guru), and an average spend of €60 to €70.
