Casa de Campo

Casa de Campo is a 1,722-hectare park west of central Madrid, created in the early 16th century as a royal hunting and recreation ground and opened to the public in 1931. It contains the Madrid Zoo, the Parque de Atracciones amusement park and an artificial lake for recreation. The Teleférico de Madrid gondola lift links it to the Parque del Oeste.
