Mercat de Mercats is Barcelona's big celebration of its municipal food markets, and it's back at Plaça de les Glòries from Friday 16 to Sunday 18 October 2026 for its 15th anniversary. Stallholders from the city's markets bring fresh local produce, regional producers and artisans set up alongside them, and you can cook what you buy for free on the barbecues on site. This year's guest region is Jeonbuk in South Korea, with Korean food, traditional dance and concerts. It's organised by the Institut Municipal de Mercats de Barcelona with the Federació de Mercats Municipals. Entry is free, and it's open 11am to 10pm on Friday and Saturday and 11am to 9pm on Sunday.
