Fira de Santa Llúcia 2026
- Annual — runs through Advent each year
- Avinguda de la Catedral
- Gothic Quarter
Barcelona's oldest Christmas market, running by the Cathedral since 1786. Around 300 stalls fill the Avinguda de la Catedral and Plaça Nova through Advent, mixing traditional pessebre figurines (including the famous caganer), mistletoe and holly, handmade crafts, and Catalan Christmas gastronomy: torrons, neules, panellets, artisan honey, and farmhouse cheeses. The most atmospheric old-town entry point into the Catalan Nadal traditions.
Go on a weekday evening to see the stalls lit but skip the weekend crowds. The caganer collectors' stalls (the squatting figurine slipped into every Catalan nativity) are part of the cultural experience even if you don't buy.
